Along with the improvement of science technology and the development of steel structure industry, the research on the technology of steel structure construction has become a very important issue. Removing temporary supports is a key point of largespan steel structure, is a process from installed state to design state of the main structure. In this paper, the large-span umbrella-shaped steel structure truss in Taiyuan south station is irfain study object, simulate the process of removing temporary supports by using finite element analysis software MIDAS, by comparing three different schemes of removing temporary supports to large-span truss structures, reach the best scheme.
