In the past decades, human have changed their consuming behavior since the great progress of technologies. The innovation and the rapid development of technology has providing us the opportunities to purchase more cheaper and more variable electrical and electronic products, and the purchase price of new products is lower than repair or upgrade of the broken ones. On the contrary, it means that electrical and electronic products easily become obsolete, and the rate of replacement would be increased into a rapid growth of hazard waste and contaminated environment. Electronic waste is a variety of used electrical and electronic equipment which has reached the end of life, and has become no valuable for owner. Electrical and electronic products are often composed by a variety of materials, which containing precious metals, high-tech materials, and also contains a variety of toxic substances. When these products become electronic waste, its potential adverse impact on the environment and human healthy have raised the people concern. With improper treatment electronic waste may lead to toxic substances polluted water, soil and air quality, which can cause serious health and environmental hazards. Therefore, the best way to deal with e-waste is recycling. Recycling e-waste not only prevent environment contaminated, also reduce pollutant emission. Besides the material recycled from waste electronic and electrical products can be used again help to reduce the exploitation of new resources. Although e-waste recycling has been implemented over ten years in Taiwan, the awareness of the existence and dangerous of the electronic waste is still scarcity, thus the purpose of this study want to raise the awareness of electronic waste recycling to stakeholders.
