In the background of financial crisis, the exportoriented strategy of China is facing a huge challenge. To boost the domestic demand is of great importance for national sustainable economic growth. The low consumption rate, however, restricts the effectiveness of macroscopic adjustment and control of expanding domestic needs. Confucianism, a conservative cautious consumption culture, is playing a significant role as reflected from the low consumption rate. The media is the key to the consumption re-culturing. Therefore, seeking media countermeasures to expand green consumption demand from perspective of consumption re-culturing and releasing deep restricts of Confucianism on consumption will tender a new perspective and idea to the policy innovation of domestic need expansion.
