摘要

We examine how pursuit for convenience by passengers has relationship with opportunity cost on air travel throughtesting effects of individual characteristics on the primary factors when choosing a flight. We use the exclusive survey data inmulti-airport region of Greater Osaka;;that is Kansai;;Itami and Kobe airport in Japan which enables passengers to make anairport choice;;and conduct our analysis by Multi-nominal Logit model. We find out that high opportunity cost which isequivalent to high income drives passengers to pursue convenience . Also;;we find that a factor closely related to convenienceis recognized as the primary factor.
