Both the development and correct application of constitutive relations are hindered by difficulties students have in gaining a proper understanding of their implications. VizCoRe is an interactive workbench and educational tool designed for the visualization of constitutive relations. The workbench simplifies and accelerates the learning process for students of constitutive relations by replacing abstract mathematical formulae with 3-dimensional animated objects. This paper presents the visualization techniques of constitutive model visualization, glyphs, general strain probing, and stiffness probing developed in VizCoRe to gain an understanding of the constitutive behavior of soil.
