The efficiency of microbial preparation on oil-water separators that handles the disposal of kitchen wastewater of company dormitories was examined. Comparisons of 6 widely used types of microbial preparation were performed in a laboratory in order to determine the most optimal type for handling kitchen wastewater of company dormitories. Results indicated that a particular type of microbial preparation compared with the other types produced high values of decreased concentrations of n-Hexane extract concentration. It became clear that selecting the most optimal type of microbial preparation was necessary because drainage properties depend on the cooking style.
