New generation of nuclear reactors which have been built until now meet the requirement of reliability design, however it can't solve the waste problem of spent nuclear fuel. The amount of waste accumulatively all over the world is about 1950 kilotons DU (depleted uranium), 330 kilotons of TU (trans uranium), 17 kilotons fission product (per GWey 145 tons DU 24.5 tons TU and 1.27 tons fission products). Fission products have a relatively short lifetime (as nuclear power plant period), so it will be easier to handle but TU has a very long half-life. One of the development of advanced reactor technology is passive compact molten salt reactor (PCMSR). PCMSR is advanced reactor design which its fuel use the combination of molten salt PuF_3-UF_4-ThF_4-LiF-BeF_4 with the composition of mole is set according to neutron characteristic. PCMSR is an integral reactor which consisted by 3 zones, they are core, blanket, and heat exchanger. By PCMSR, DU and TU which mostly contain fertile nuclide can be used again as fuel. In the last point the waste of PCMSR (with increasing thermal efficiency become 55%) as potentially just producing fission product about 0.85 tons per GWey which has short half-life. Thus, the conclusion is PCMSR exactly can solve sustainability problem in this world.
