An investigation was performed into the effect of emulsifiers on the rheological properties and stability of emulsions explosives (EE) according to rheological studies and microscopy.The emulsifiers were selected PIBSA derivative, sorbitan monooleate (SMO) and complex emulsifier (SMO 50 wt% and phosphatide50 wt %).The rheological properties of EE are presented by flow curves and dynamic modulus which does depend on frequency and does not depended on the amplitude of deformations.The difference of samples was very notable, especially phosphatide.Microscopy was also used to observe the storage stability change of EE.Rheological properties of EE can be used to evaluate stability of EE and microscopy experiment also demonstrated the same conclusion.Phosphatide influenced on storage stability of EE.The storage stability of EE was decreased when phosphatide was used as a surfactant.
