Urbanization is one of the primary and significant indicators to measure the economic development degree of a country or an area. As the process of urbanization, the structure of the population, industry, and demanded area are transformed, this transformation which has a certain impact on real estate investment. Taking the geographical space factor into account, this article selects panel data of cities and counties in three northeastern provinces in China, using the multiple linear regression model, to explore the influence of urbanization on real estate investment. Drawing the conclusion that the urban population and GDP are the most significant indicators of urbanization on real estate investment.
