This paper presents work on the design and development of a simulation environment for testing the two competing mission command technologies and their implementations. To illustrate the utility of the system, several usage scenarios are presented and evaluated. Specifically, requirements such as the requisite collection of goal satisfaction data, craft performance and computing system (and software) performance are considered. The paper concludes with an overview of future work which is enabled by the proposed simulation environment.
