In order to compare the evaluation standards difference between the domestic and foreign automotive interior materials in the combustion characteristics, The shortcomings of domestic standard are analyzed, Therefore, comprehensive combustion performance test methods of automotive interior materials are then designed and implemented. We provided various test methods, such as the flammability of automobile interior materials (national standard), the oxygen index and vertical burning method. The results show that the more detailed fire risk characteristics of automotive interior materials can be obtained and to arouse the fire protection awareness of corresponding departments.
