摘要

This paper proposes a real-time power flow optimal control method for hybrid AC/DC power systems with VSC-HVDC (Voltage Sourced Converter based HVDC). Sufficiently considered the operation characteristics of Xiamen VSC-HVDC engineering system and the features of the coupling relationship between VSC-HVDC transmission paths and other ordinary AC transmission paths under different operation conditions, the proposed method achieves the multiple optimization targets of reducing the power systems total loss and balancing the load rate among the crucial transmission paths. This method is applied in the EMS (Energy Management System) of Fujian province to implement the real-time power flow optimal control for the hybrid AC/DC power system with VSC-HVDC, and therefore to enhance the power system safety and economy.
