Complex nonlinear dynamics of Kummer-Olsen calcium oscillation system based on calcium-induced calcium release (CICR) were investigated. By using the qualitative theory, bifurcation theorem and the center manifold theory, the stability, the types of equilibrium points and supercritical Hopf bifurcation with parameter value have been first discussed. Furthermore, some new numerical simulations have confirmed the theoretical analysis results. It is concluded that the appearance and disappearance of calcium oscillations in this system is due to the twice supercritical Hopf bifurcations of equilibrium.
