The influence of the receiver position on imaging resolution of a passive radar system with multiple GNSS transmitters and a fixed ground receiver was analyzed. The spatial spectrum model is used to analyze the resolution properties of the system in accordance with the Fourier transform connection between the target scattering function and the echo in the spatial spectral domain, and the corresponding conclusion that the receiver position has negligible effect on the resolution of the system is drawn. This conclusion plays an important theoretical guiding role in the receiver position design of the passive radar system with multiple GNSS transmitters and ground receivers.
