Transmission Control Protocol (TCP), a reliable stream delivery transport protocol performs well in wired network compared to the multi-hop wireless network. The multi-hop wireless networks have several distinct features like dynamic self-configuration and self-healing ability remains integrated with wireless internet that enhances its capability. The TCP implementation in multi-hop wireless network remains challenging task due to inherent limitations like disjoint nodes, wireless transmission error, and frequent handoff that deteriorates its performances. In this paper, the existing standard TCP's bandwidth estimation (Westwood), delay(Vegas) and drop (New Reno) based congestion control algorithm tested under multi-hop wireless simulation environment to study its micro-level behaviour characteristics.
