In the context of amplitude-phase spatial audio coding, wc give a proof of a phase discontinuity problem that affects all previous tridimensional stereo-compatible schemes. We solve it by using a dynamic mapping of spherical coordinates to the Scheiber sphere, which ensures phase continuity.
