With the increase of existing photovoltaic power plants in operation period, electronic component aging, cable rupture, or loose contact animal bite and other reasons may lead to DC arc fault, and most of the PV array installed by long series of high voltage DC power supply, also increased the safety problems and the related arc. The DC fault arc in photovoltaic power generation system has its own characteristics. The location of DC arc is easy to occur in the photovoltaic system structure, the line is long, and the arc generation is stochastic. Due to the limitation of sensors, the traditional detection methods of physical phenomena such as sound, light and electromagnetic radiation, which are accompanied by arc discharge, have shortcomings such as limited detection range and narrow application scope. The DC power in photovoltaic power generation system is photovoltaic panels, whose output characteristics are constant current sources in a certain range, and the voltage and current are greatly changed by the illumination temperature.
