摘要

The value of computational archival science is realized only in the delivery of products and services. The ultimate value of archival science is its contribution to the construction of information about the past. Archival engineering offers a systematic basis for delivering value. The paper articulates concepts that can be melded with traditional archival theory to expand the applicable domain and to develop quantified, testable and verifiable archival methods.
