A 3d-micro-probing system based on a silicon boss-membrane with piezoresistive elements has been developed. The paper focusses on some metrological properties: the stiffness of the membrane, the sensitivity and the resolution, the measuring range, the probing forces and on the K-factor of the piezo-resistors.
