摘要

Emerging deregulated power grid emphasis the need for closely monitoring and supervising the angular oscillation that spread across the grid. A WAMS based voltage angle monitoring and supervising scheme which could be easily implemented in present day's SPC is proposed in the work. The scheme make use of characteristics of bus voltage angular oscillations for online monitoring in SPC and to give supervisory warning to alert the operator about the disturbance that may eventually lead to cascade tripping hence market collapse.
