The housing supply elasticity manifests as the sensitivity of the housing supply change rate to the housing price change. Therefore, in the implementation of housing regulation policies, supply elasticity is an important consideration factor in the housing supply side. On the basis of the housing supply elasticity estimated by the empirical analysis of the panel data of 34 large and medium-sized cities, a regression analysis was conducted on the empirical model to examine the respective influences of elasticity of land supply, proportion of land transfer revenue gained through bid, auction, and listing, industrial structure variable, urban GDP, and parcel area on elasticity of housing supply. The study of these factors of housing supply elasticity is of great significance to the establishment of a long-term regulation mechanism for China's real estate industry.
