FieldView-CREATE: A Unified Multi-disciplinary Post-processing Tool for CREATE™ Solvers

The CREATE™ program has made great strides in developing pre-processing and solver technology for high-fidelity and multi-disciplinary analysis, however the post-processing methods have depended on existing features in commercial or open-source products. Analysts have been limited to an arduous workflow that includes duplicative efforts to generate equivalent visualization objects in each partition of coupled solver solutions. Separate tools are typically utilized for different types of physics simulations (fluid, structural, electromagnetic). A customized post-processor FieldView-CREATE, has been developed to resolve these workflow inefficiencies and enable full realization of the value added from the upstream technology development. Initial results are presented to demonstrate how a Multi-Topology mesh, multi-primitive Variable basis (MTV) dataset can be loaded, and visualization objects can be generated to span between partitions of coupled solver solutions.
