摘要

Cloud computing-based e-Governance is successfully working in many cities nowadays. IoT also plays a vital role in gathering data for various services provided through e-Governance. Various devices are connected to gather and exchange data for different applications by using IoT. IoT has problems like more latency time, security issues, need for high-speed networks for performing computation using cloud computing. These challenges are in the higher end if IoT & cloud are used for e-Governance services. In this paper, the author proposes an FoT (Fog of Things) based architecture for e-Governance as a solution to the above problems. Fog is a type of edge computing in which all the computing is done at a data collection edge/source. Fog will enhance communication between IoT devices and Cloud Computing. We can extend Cloud-of Things to Fog of Things enables the government to move towards smart Governance.
