摘要

Based on lossy uniform/periodic dielectric- loaded metal cylindrical waveguide, a multimode steady- state beam wave interaction theory for gyro-TWT is established in this paper. As application examples, the theoretical results of the beam wave interaction for Ka and W band fundamental mode Gyro-TWT were compared with those of experiments and PIC simulation for demonstrating the theoretical rationality.
