In order to solve the high cost of pure electric mining truck batteries, long charging time, and serious battery overload when the fully loaded truck was uphill, the method of electric mining truck traction power supply under low voltage DC sliding contact network was proposed. The load capacity of the electric mining truck was analyzed. the performance of line current, line voltage drop, and line loss of different power supply system such as single-ended power supply, two-end power supply, middle single-point power supply and middle two-point power supply were compared. The results showed that under the same working conditions, the middle two-point power supply system had the advantage of small current, low line loss and high performance. The middle two-point power supply system was designed. The performance of line voltage, current, line loss, etc. under various working conditions were analyzed. The countermeasures for overload conditions were proposed. The research provided important guidance for the application and promotion of electric mining truck.
