A highly experienced oil and gas Technical Director, who has held senior managementpositions at BP Shipping Ltd, JP Morgan Chase and now at Navigator Gas, the world’s largestowner and operator of handysize LPG & Ethylene capable tankers. In his current role asDirector of Fleet and Technical Operations based in London, he leads the Fleet Managementteam for the 38 LPG vessels in service, as well as the Newbuilding and Special Projects teams.He is proficient in leading and developing large multi-disciplined teams, setting strategicdirection. He is adept at fostering teamwork to aide development and implementation of bestpractices and driving continuous improvement to operating standards, safety, reliability andefficiency. In his current role, he has taken Navigator Gas in a new strategic direction, movingaway from 3rd party ship management and taking management of the Navigator Gas fleet intoin-house management. He created Navigator Gas Shipmanagement Ltd in 2015 and has sincegrown the team from 5 to 36 individuals, with staff based in the UK and Europe. Paul has acombined Chief Engineers license. He is also a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute ofMarine Engineers & Science Technicians (FIMarEST), graduate of the BP Major ProjectsAcademy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Boston, USA and an IntertankoCouncil Member.
