摘要

As a result of the rapid development of tourism on the island inthe last decade, many buildings and squares have beenrehabilitated within the Historic Center “Old Havana†to meet theneeds of current visitors and somehow rehabilitate the capital'sinfrastructure, even so, and despite the important role “ElMalecon†plays within the city, its maintenance as a tourist placedoes not present much progress, it is also important to point outthat its current situation is precarious. In its built surface a harshenvironment is perceived, which is available throughout itsstreets, with only 29.2% of its buildings presenting a GoodConstruction Condition, the remaining percentages are, Regular42.3% and finally Bad condition, which is observed in theremaining 20.5% for a total of 256 buildings.
