In order to study the influence of operation parameters on particle velocity distribution in the circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, the velocity and concentration of particles in the cold model of a circulating fluidized bed boiler furnace are measured by PV6A Particle Velocity Measurer and Pitot tube. The experimental results show that, particle velocity and concentration distribution, pressure drop, fluidized state and circulating mass flux in CFB boiler furnace all reach steady state, and particle flow shows typical character of core-annulus flow structure, under the condition that air flow speed is 2.57m/s, circulating mass flux is 0.58kg/m ·s, the primary air flow is 2300 m /h and secondary air flow is 1500 m3/h.
