The article will present a process model for Rapid product Development RPD.RPD as an evolutionary development concept through shortening of the control loops within the product data generation process and according management processes.Differences to traditional phase oriented product development processes,such as Simultaneous Engineering SE will be explained as well as prerequristies under which such a process will be feasible.
