MOst test efforts span multiple orgnaizations,groups and test teams.The major objective of standardizing test processes is to define policies and procedures to be supported by all test participants during the testing phase.This paper outlines "best practices"for accomplishign quality testing across multiple departments involved in the testing of mainframe and distributed applicatiosn.regardless of the level of testing required (system,integration,acceptance).Policies defined in this paper can assist with addressing the following test issues:
