A QoS mechanism used in heterogeneous systems is presented in the paper. And a series of abstract structures, describing characteristics of applications and system, as well as algorithms supporting the realization of QoS, is designed in it. On the one hand, this mechanism can address common problems found in heterogeneous systems supporting QoS guarantees, such as lack of harmony QoS expressiveness, ect. On the other hand, this mechanism can support QoS dynamic degradation.
