We present Monte Carlo simulations of the velocity slip and temperature jump in a dilute hard sphere gas. The calculations are performed in the limit of weak gradients to enable comparison with theoretical results based on the linearized Boltzmann equation. Both velocity slip and temperature jump results agree with theoretical results for Knudsen number Kn <≈ 0.1. The normalized slip length for both velocity and temperature is found to decrease for Kn >≈ 0.1 as originally shown by Bhattacharya and Lie [1].
