摘要

In order to take part in marker competition in an environment of globalized world economy, it is an objective requirement for China to build large iron ore docks and use large ships for transporting and development of port infrastructures, support from governments at different levels and active involvement of iron and steel enterprises and railway departments are needed. It is an important policy of China to expand the absorption of foreign investment, particularly investment from transnational companies into the construction of infrastructures, and to boldly absorb advanced foreign technologies and management experiences. China's port market is open. We sincerely welcome economically-strong overseas enterprise consortiums to have extensive exchanges and cooperation with us, to take an active part in China's port construction, particularly the construction of enlarged specialized docks, with the aim jointly promote the development of China's water transportation industry.
