There are several aspects of coating in a clean room that are over and above normal good coating practice. These aspects, to be discussed in this paper, are as follows: determining the needed product quality, producing high quality coating fluids, having appropriate filtration, having clean base, monitoring the cleanliness levels in the clean room, control of static, having good operational discipline, having good cleaning procedures, and paying attention to details. In the Powerpoint presentation, an actual example of a unique clean room problem is described.
