Anti-reflection films are formed on flexible substrates, such as PET (Polyethyleneterephthalate) and TAC (Triacetylcellulose) using web coater by evaporafion. We could have anti-reflection film with reflectance less than 0.3 % in visible ray region. A plasma assisted evaporation technique using web coater was applied to obtain four layer anti-reflection film on TAC substrate. Moreover, it has high mechanical properties but has flexibility, and has excellent hydrophobic protective/anti-soiling characteristics for LCD use.
