Dihedral corner reflector has wide-angle dispersion characteristic, and it is primary scatter position in certain orientation of metal body. Furthermore, it is quite complex for technology of its. radar cross sections (RCS) to be reduced. This paper begins with investigating technology feasibility of reducing its RCS with plasma, followed by analyzing RCS variety of mental corner reflector after its surfaces are covered with plasma according to software emulation (the experimental equipment is developing). And the results show that the plasma has strong characteristics of electromagnetic wave absorption. In addition, the attenuation of RCS is declining with the growth of frequency of incident wave when plasma frequency and electron collision frequency hold the line. According to the results, applications of plasma in terms of the reduction of RCS have practical engineering value.
