The influence caused by the sizes of the finger-reed structure to the shielding efficiency is analyzed firstly by FDTD method in this paper. Then the shielding efficiency to the electromagnetic pulse is investigated when the reed with finger shape is installed in the aperture of the metal structure. The computational results coincide well with those of experimental results. At last some conclusions, which may provide helpful reference for the practical engineering, are obtained.
