Adaptive learning systems address the aspect of various learning styles and the need to customize instructional methodologies. Such systems provide an innovative method of instruction that adapts to the learner's unique learning style. This paper proposes a novel approach to adaptive learning with the use of a fuzzy neural network (FNN) that evaluates comprehension and makes instructional modality selections.
