摘要

Circuit emulation over optical Ethernet last-mile networks is an optimal way for a carrier to migrate his TDM traffic from to a fiber-network. The solution allows the carrier to continue to provide TDM and data networks over the same physical link without having to migrate the existing TDM network. Vendors who implement circuit emulation must be mindful of jitter and wander specifications to ensure the equipment meets Telcordia and ITU specifications.
