The thriving field of Intellectual capital remains an exciting area for both researchers and practitioners because the knowledge assets of the firms still provide various competitive advantages. Knowledge assets have a substantial implication on financing a knowledge organization's vision. In addition to this, the principles of the knowledge economy enhance the use of knowledge management methods for the amplification of the enterprise. Currently, valuating process of knowledge assets is in a phase where many possible solutions including new definitions, criteria and measures take place and are used. A variety of models has appeared in an attempt to valuate knowledge assets. This paper aims to describe the framework of a suggestion, which is under study, and includes the knowledge value chain of a firm as a basis of the valuation of intangible assets for the purposes of information and services dissemination in the bounds of an enterprise. On the whole, the main objective of this paper is the description of the steps for the identification of the knowledge value chain of a firm, in order to valuate knowledge assets so as to achieve the information and knowledge services dissemination.
