The problem of the imbalance between water resources supply and its demand is prominent in the Yellow River Basin, so the task of redressing it is tough and time — costing. This paper analyzes why the drying — up has occurred in the middle section of the Yellow River for more times recently and indicates its influence. Based on that, some counter measures are put forward.
