摘要

By studying the essence of river life and river health, and analyzing all the requirements of river itself, human and river ecosystem, the author proposed that major healthy indicators of the Yellow River at present are continuous flow, favorable riverbed, suitable water quality, acceptable river ecosystem and certain water supply capacity, which could be represented by nine parameters such as minimal flow, bank — full flow, wetlands area, etc. Furthermore, this paper also gave the standards of the healthy indicators, as well as healthy river requirement and the action needed.
