摘要

In this research project, the physical model (scale is 1:8) has been adopted to study the hydraulic characteristics of intake channel of CW pump house in Xiamen East Gas-Fired Power Plant. The research emphases include: flow velocity and fluid state around the bell mouth in suction chamber, simulation and verification of vortex, predicting the generation of vortex, tabling a proposal of anti-vortex, and so on. While the distributions of flow velocity in intake channel have been symmetrical and the stable operation of the CW pump has been ensured, the optimized size and more reasonable program about the intake channel of CW pump house should be brought out to save investment of engineering effectively.
