摘要

Introduction: No operative method for early gastric cancer in cardia has previously been established. We developed a new procedure for it. Methods: From July 2003 to December 2010, 29 patients underwent this procedure. We evaluated the postoperative state through a 24-h pH monitor and esophageal manometory after one month. Results: Twenty-five patients (86%) reported no reflux symptoms, and 27 (92.8%) patients could eat 70% more than they could before the operation. 66% experienced LES pressures greater than 10 mmHg. 71% revealed fraction time pH < 4 were less than 5% in the 24-h pH monitor. Conclusion: This convenient method maintained patient quality of life postoperatively.
