The Satellite Networked Open Ground Stations (SatNOGS) project is aimed at improving the amount of data collected from cubesats and amateur radio satellites through automation and lowering the cost of entry into satellite ground stations. This is accomplished through open source software that fully automates a ground station, matched with a suite of web applications that manage observations jobs and satellite details. To lower the barrier of entry into satellites we also offer plans for a 3D-printed AZ-EL rotator, antennas, and even a radome - though the modularity of our software is designed to work with most combinations of open and commercial gear. All data collected is provided for free under a creative commons license.
