Since 2013, AMSAT-UK, together with AMSAT-NL, and partners from industry and education, have produced 4 CubeSats containing amateur radio transponders. This paper summarises the current status and lessons learned from the AO-73, UKube, EO79 and EO-88 missions. It also looks ahead to the launch of other satellites currently under construction, including the long awaited L/V (1263 to 145MHz) FM transponder on the European Space Agency ESEO satellite.
