Today's wind farms,especially when located offshore are a big investment for all involved stake holders of easily one billion euros or more.Thus all important measures for ensuring proper quality should be carried out in order to safeguard these investments.Recent experience shows that improper manufacturing of components can be one of the main root causes for huge costs during the operation phase.
