摘要

The teaching, learning and understanding processes of Construction concepts and methods in theArchitecture Undergraduate studies in UNAL (Universidad Nacional de Colombia) are applied by theuse of two dimensions, which are developed by students through the use of different academic andprofessional digital representation software.Nevertheless, these 2D (Two-dimensional) representations do not allow the understanding of the realspatial development in in-course case studies, stating the presence of gaps in learning. With theobjective of carrying out a comparison between advantages and disadvantages of 2D and 3D (Threedimensional)representations, one case study is analysed from our experience as students and thework developed in one architectural subject related to technology and construction: Low ComplexityConstructions (Construcciones de Baja Complejidad). This one involved the use of conventional 2Drepresentation systems and 3D simulation tools and software, as tools of pedagogical learning oftechnical concepts and constructive processes.
