The processes of adsorption of iodine, zirconium tetrachloride and Freon-113 on different carbon sorbents were investigated in connection with purification of gas flows (air streams mostly) from iodine, Freons and iodides. It was shown that synthetic carbons obtained by means of a high-temperature activation of the polymer materials had the maximal capacity regarding the above mentioned substances.
