March 20 to 22, 2002, north parts of China compact with intense dust storm and sandstorms, the victim include not only Korea and Japan, but also many areas of the North America, such as California and Colorado. Surprisingly large and long-lasting made the sandstorm distinguished among former ever dust events. This paper described the weather feature, origin and transport rout of dust-sand storm. The particulate size distribution, transport pattern and the influence to Beijing were discussed below.
